Chicago News: Mayor Daley not to Run for Re-election

Politics is not my cup of tea but yesterday Mayor Daley announced that he will not seek re-election in 2010. He was quoted as sayin "it's time for me, its time for Chicago to move on". I think Chicagoans have been trying to move on for many years now without success. He's been in office for 21 years!!!!!!! He's the only mayor I've ever seen in office (im 23 yrs old) and I never thought I'd see the day (serious face)! I didn't think it was a big deal until I started to ask myself what's next for Chicago? What do my fellow Chicagoans think? Corruption is the first thing that comes to my mind, who'll have the highest bid for the seat.............

Kanye West' "Power" Video Release

Kanye West' much anticipated "Power" video is set to be released tomorrow exclusively on MTV at 11 pm ET. Many are questioning if the video will set the tone for his album while others are already discussing the satanic imagery in the video. I guess you have to watch it and judge for yourself! On another note, Kanye's on TWITTER! This comes to a huge surprise considering the little rampage he went on last May. If you missed the "spaz" he posted on his blog, here's the gist of it............

"I DON’T HAVE A FUCKING TWITTER… WHY WOULD I USE TWITTER??? I ONLY BLOG 5 PERCENT OF WHAT I’M UP TO IN THE FIRST PLACE. Although most of us would agree with the statement above, Kanye has chosen to engage in the twitter world. He currently has 449, 440 followers and the number is still growing. Many speculate his decision to join twitter is a promotional move but can you blame him? The man has to keep that paper stacking. Are you a Kanye follower?????

To my fellow BlackBerry owners: Is the Torch HOT or NOT?

The BlackBerry Torch 9800, which is a slider touch screen phone, has been available to order as of yesterday and will launch in stores on August 12th. Don't know how I feel about this one yet but the design is def an upgrade in comparison to the first BlackBerry touch phone (Storm). Will you be one to run out and get it?
